new firefox 2.0 in amd64

Ok, as is probably widely known by now, the newly released version 2 of firefox is out. However, as usual, it is available only for 32-bit versions of linux distros.

Now, following the instructions from several places and especially here at the ubuntuforums, users of amd64 boxes have installed 32-bit versions of firefox (without the need for setting up a chroot environment). I have just replicated the instructions and set up a firefox 2 for 32 bit in my amd64 box and the result is … well you see it below:
